UndeadI laughed, I cried… well no I didn’t cry (except from laughter) but I did laugh some more. “Undead” was a very funny zombie film.

A small fishing village is hit with an unusual meteor shower that sends meteorites into the village and through it’s people. Afterwords there is mass chaos as people start rising from the dead to feed on the living. Adding to the mystery a black cloud and giant wall shut out the town from the rest of the world. We follow a group of survivors as they do their best to stay alive… Wow I’ve done so many of these plot synopsis they all start to sound the same after a while. Something sparks zombie apocalypse, some zombie stuff happens, group of people try to survive.

Great characters, very funny, confusing plot, mediocre effects. “Undead” was a very enjoyable film, we were laughing pretty consistently throughout the film. The plot went from interesting to alright to confusing as hell by the end of the film, but I was still laughing so that made it bearable. I particularly enjoyed the performance/character of the bad ass farmer who was like a Stallone or Schwarzenegger. If you want a zombie film you can laugh with/at this is the movie for you. If you want a zombie film that is original or makes you think, I’d look elsewhere. Perhaps I can sum it up in three words. Triple mounted shotgun.
Best Line: Triple Mounted Shotgun
